Bucatini with Spicy Tomato Sauce
2 tbsp. Racconto Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 lb. crumbled Sweet Italian Sausage (removed from the casing)
1/2 can Racconto Whole Peeled Tomatoes
1 lb. Racconto Bucatini
1 tbsp. fresh Parsley
1/2 tsp. of salt
1 tsp. Racconto Chopped Garlic
2 seeded and diced Pepperoncini
2/3 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
In a saute pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and saute until it turns golden brown. Lower the heat and add the crumbled sausage.
Cook for about 3 minutes. Add the tomatoes and the pepperoncini and continue to cook for 10 minutes. In a separate pot, prepare the pasta
according to the instructions on the package. Mix the cheese, parsley and salt into the sauce. Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce and serve.
