For years, the Racconto family of employees has continuously supported local charities, especially those involving children. In 1999, the Mugnolo family of Racconto founded the Mugnolo Scholarship & Children's Foundation. The MSCF is a not for profit, 501 section (c) organization devoted to assisting children with special needs. Supported by a group of dedicated individuals, members of the foundation have volunteered their time to host events assisting organizations such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Children's Memorial Hospital, the Hephzibah Home and CAN: Cure Autism Now. MSCF also provides scholarships at Holy Cross High School, in River Grove, Illinois and the Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois.

In order to assist the foundation with fund raising expenses, Racconto and the MCSF are offering Italian specialty gift baskets. Racconto donates the merchandise and the baskets are created with 100% of the proceeds supporting the foundation.
